Nope! This is brand new content. Whereas the bundle's video course focused on flat lay + stop motion videos, this course is all-encompassing and dives into a huge variety of different video styles, angles, storytelling techniques, gear, and durations. This course is focused on the newest capabilities in the video realm, and dives deep into every *single* aspect of video creation, from idea to storytelling to shooting to editing. And with the growing demand for vertical videos, this course covers all the transitionary equipment + tech you need to use to shoot + edit vertically. There is about 5 minutes of overlap when I'm talking about frame rates, but out of the over 12 hours of tutorials, that's not too bad ;) Plus it's always good to have a little refresher about the fundamentals!

What equipment do I need?
You will definitely need a camera or smart phone that can shoot in HD. As for the rest of the gear discussed in the course, it's optional depending on the style of video you want to create (which we'll dive deep into in the course, especially in Module 2 which is all about video equipment). I'm a firm believer that you don't need the newest + shiniest equipment to create a beautiful video—instead, you need to understand what you're doing on a technical + artistic level, and that's what the course will help you do. If you are interested in learning to edit in Adobe Rush, Adobe Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve, you will need to download one or all of those applications. Adobe Rush desktop + Adobe Premiere are paid, but DaVinci Resolve is free to download.
Can I take this course with a smart phone or do I need a camera?
Yes you can! The course covers shooting with a smart phone *and* with a camera, so that you can learn to create beautiful videos with whatever equipment you have. I strongly believe that you do not need the newest costliest gear to make captivating videos, you just need creativity and some extra know-how! 🎨 + 🧠 All of the stylistic visual techniques covered in the course apply whether you're shooting with a smart phone or a DSLR camera.
